PTSD affects millions each year, and as therapy evolves alongside technology, innovative solutions like iEMDR are redefining how—and where—effective trauma treatment can happen.
Moving Forward
Since pioneering online therapy in 1994 (following my market research for what later became a popular therapist listing site), I’ve witnessed firsthand the challenges of delivering effective EMDR therapy remotely. When the pandemic increased trauma cases in my online practice, I conceived and patented i-emdr-iii (Patent #11,830,628 B1, November 28, 2023) – a wearable Durable Medical Equipment (DME) device designed to enable effective remote EMDR therapy delivery.
In addition to providing effective EMDR therapy on the Internet, the economies of scale and the secondary market with predictably lower prices can directly support ongoing research in the effectiveness of different techniques of EMDR using all three sensory inputs.
With regards to the economy of scale, we provide the following examples for you to consider:
Estimated $999 per unit (based on preliminary manufacturing assessments)
Typical cost recovery in 3-7 weeks with $3,000-8,000 monthly revenue potential
Multiple practice models: in-office shared use, remote patient-assigned, or hybrid
How You Can Get Involved

Keep me posted – Receive periodic updates about i-emdr-iii

Follow development progress – Get early access to information and provide feedback

Participate in R&D and field trials – Actively test the device and contribute to research

Join my Professional Advisory Board – I’m seeking two additional members to provide strategic guidance
In complete transparency: Production depends on support, which relies on demonstrated professional interest. The greater the number of colleagues who express interest, the more likely project will be funded to address the pressing global need for remote PTSD treatment.
I appreciate your interest at whatever level:
Your Contact information will not be shared. Our power to move the project forward is in how many of us (each with several PTSD patients in our practice) is interested in seeing it happen.
